16 Awesome Blogs for Wives

Marriage Tayler Beede September 27, 2013

I have the wonderful opportunity of writing for Unveiled Wife, and the amazing privilege of writing with a very talented, passionate group of women. I am always blessed by their articles on Unveiled Wife, and most of them have blogs of their own. Before connecting with these lovely ladies, I always had a hard time finding quality blogs to follow as a wife. If you have the same problem, I highly recommend these blogs.

I’ve listed Unveiled Wife first, since that’s where we’re all joined together. However, I ended up listing the rest in alphabetical order; there’s no way I could rank them—they’re all so wonderful! These women have such amazing wisdom and wise advice. They work so hard to change and encourage marriages across the world—please check them out!

1. Unveiled Wife

“My passion motivating every post is to encourage other women in their role as a wife, focusing on the foundational principles about marriage revealed throughout the Bible.  I write on faith, marriage and motherhood… and the occasional random post that may not fit perfectly into one of those categories. My goal is to create an atmosphere where women feel safe to share their marriage experiences, find encouragement and affirm each other.”

2. The Alabaster Jar

“Jolene Engle has dedicated her life to searching the Scriptures and applying God’s Word to help Christian wives around the world experience a glorious marriage. She shows women how to apply practical and biblical truths that encourage and inspire wives to live a life that is poured out for Christ like the perfume from an Alabaster Jar (Luke 7:37).”

3. Club 31 Women

“Lisa is the happily-ever-after wife of Matt Jacobson and together they enjoy raising and home-educating their 8 children. She’s also rather fond of dark chocolate, French press coffee, and deep friendships (though not necessarily in that order).”

4. Happy Wives Club

“My name is Fawn and I ‘love my life as K. Weaver’s wife’ (exactly what is written on my car license plate frame). My husband, Keith, and I were married in 2003 and like fine wine our relationship just gets better with time. I’ve loved being a wife from the moment I said ‘I do.'”

5. Hot Holy Humorous

“J is a Christian, a wife, a mom, a writer, and a work in progress. She writes anonymously at Hot, Holy & Humorous, where she uses a biblical perspective and a blunt sense of humor to foster Christian sexuality in marriage.”

6. Jennifer J. Roos

“My passionate pursuit in life is to fully surrender myself to God’s agenda. I’ve been entrusted with the call to be a wife, a mother and a Christ-like example to my family and friends. I fall, I fail, but by God’s grace I persevere. I aspire to inspire women of all ages to free their faith and be bold in their pursuit of Godliness.”

7. Love Uncensored

“My passion is to empower believers to be bold, courageous and live authentically for Jesus Christ. My journey with the Lord began when I was 15 and since then I have been on a rollercoaster of sin, shame and regret. Thankfully, God set me free allowing me to embrace my story and be brave! My husband and I write a blog together called Love Uncensored where we share real life experiences through ministry, marriage, fitness and parenting.”

8. Mercy Found Me

“Connector and lover of heartfelt chats and chai tea lattes, Jacque is a relator who can’t wait to connect with you. As a Labor & Delivery RN and mama to five, she spins her days between chaotic kids and newborn cries, groping to find God’s gifts amidst them all. Over a decade ago, in the aftermath of an affair, Jacque was found by God’s mercy and changed by His grace, and because of His love, will never be the same. She is passionate about forgiveness and second chances, and wants you to know, regardless of your tragedy–no matter your brokenness or failure, God’s grace is enough. And His mercy can find even you.”

9. The Purple Buoy

“Jennifer currently resides in The Buckeye State with her husband and son. She loves God, her husband, and her son–in that order. She is a daily receiver of grace and loves to encourage others.”

10. Proverbs Living

“Jessica is a life and style blogger from the Midwest who is continuously seeking Jesus. She is also a teacher, college volleyball coach, worship leader, and fashion editor for Quite Magazine. Jessica and her husband met on a “blind date” in 2007, married in 2009, and welcomed their blue eyed gift from God in 2011. By sharing her experiences as a wife/mother and inspiring women to be modest fashionistas, Jessica hopes to be a light in our cultural darkness.”

11. Rachel Wojnarowski

“Wife, Mom to 7, Blogger, Writer, Speaker. My desire is to inspire you to live out extraordinary faith in Christ by providing everyday real-life solutions and encourage growth in your personal relationship with God.”

12. Restored Through Grace

“I married the love of my life in the summer of 2002. I am a former preschool teacher and now have the privilege of staying at home with my two young children. I have been called to share the story of my marriage and God’s redemptive love through my blog.”

13. Simply Clarke

“Hi, I’m Marquis—I love God with all my heart and I am married to the best husband in the world, Kevin Clarke (I might be biased). You can normally find me with a Diet Coke in one hand and my iPhone in the other. I work in Children’s Ministry by day and volunteer with College Ministry by night. I believe that life is breath-takingly beautiful.”

14. So, I Found God

“Jamie is happily married to her high school sweetheart. She gave her life to Christ in 2011 after watching her husband become saved. She describes her unexpected transformation in Christ as a radical over-night experience, one that at times was painful—but obviously, incredibly worth it. Jamie feels strongly called to write and uses her personal blog to encourage other wives, mothers and new Christians.”

15. This Gal’s Journey

“Jennifer is your typical American wife and mother living life, raising kids, and working…only she’s doing it in Ireland. She married the love of her life, Seth, in 2000. They are blessed with 2 sweet girls and one busy little boy. After a few years of putting the mommy role first, she and Seth are walking the road of renewal and are excited to share that journey with you. Jennifer passionately loves the Lord, her family, music, dance, writing and chocolate.”

16. To Love, Honor, and Vacuum

“Sheila is the author of The Good Girl’s Guide to Great Sex, a book to help women find true intimacy on every level–spiritual, emotional, and physical. She blogs everyday at To Love, Honor and Vacuum.”
